ILX LIGHTWAVE LDX-3565B 2/6 A Laser Diode Driver

The ILX Lightwave LDX-3565B Laser Diode Driver is a low noise high stability current source specifically for precision control of low to high power laser diodes. It has a full scale output 6000 mA current range that operates in constant current or constant optical power modes to cover a wide range of laser diode testing and control applications. In addition to precision current control, the LDX-3565B driver also features photodiode current measurement for constant power control, analog modulation for power and wavelength tuning, and an analog output for remote monitoring.

Polarization Dependent Loss is the difference between the maximum and minimum values of loss due to the variation of the polarization states of light propagating through a device. PDL is expressed in decibels. Calculated by; PDL = 10 log10 (Ep/Es), where EP and ES are the measured diffraction efficiencies for P- and S-plane polarized incident light, respectively.

Return Loss (RL)
Return Loss (RL) is the ratio of the incident power to the reflected power expressed in dB. RL = 10log (Pin/Pback)

Wavelength Resolution
Wavelength Resolution is the smallest possible displayed wavelength increment/decrement.
